I’ve been working with wood for most of my life and have been in business for over 40 years. What began as an early fascination with historic architecture and enduring craftsmanship became a career focused on finish carpentry, custom staircases, millwork, and restoration work.
I’ve lived for years in the home I built for my wife and our four daughters, a daily reminder that great work isn’t just about how something looks when it’s finished, but how it holds up to real life. That experience continues to shape the way I approach every project.
From the earliest conversations through final installation, each project follows a deliberate progression. We begin by discussing the space, the goals, and how the work needs to function day to day. Details are then refined, materials selected, and the scope carefully planned before work begins.
Once underway, the focus is on accurate execution, measuring, fitting, and installing each element so it integrates naturally with the existing structure. The aim is not speed or volume, but doing the work properly the first time.
To provide professional finish carpentry, custom millwork, and restoration services executed with precision, integrity, and attention to detail.
Quality begins well before any work starts. It means selecting the right materials, taking accurate measurements, and planning each project carefully before execution. From layout to installation, every step is approached with consistency and attention to detail so the finished work performs as well as it looks.
Craftsmanship is about judgment, knowing how a piece should be shaped, how it should fit within a space, and how it should come together as a whole. The focus is on work that feels settled and appropriate, with details that reveal themselves over time rather than calling attention to themselves.
Integrity means being honest about what a project requires and setting clear expectations from the start. It’s showing up when promised, communicating openly throughout the process, and standing behind the finished work. Doing things properly matters, even when it takes more care or time.
